Intentions

"I like this pillow... because you can punch it and it never says stop, stop, stop!"

There's plethora of uncomfortable and painful feelings swirling in physical and intelectual spaces dealing with death. When I started this story I saw myself getting the iconic pictures that will make you cry and will make you want to deal with it for your own good. And would make you think that I'm smart and thoughtful.

The later I don't care about much anymore. The world and the majority of its inhabitants are indifferent to my existence. If you'd ask what is it they care about, you 'd probably hear a unanimous: to be happy. Whatever that means for each - a secure house with a close family, social status, self-fullfilment, enlightment, or at least a glass of drinking water every day. Whatever this may be, it's fine... as long as it comes from the right place, which I consider their heart.

With this in mind, I've set out photograph the process of human demise. To begin with, for my own good as I'm not immune to confusion and anxiety when it comes to my mortality. Or when it comes to self-realization and the reason for living. However, I hope that a few of you will actually give the thought some space way before the expiry date, the Big Scary.

There is such thing as GOOD DEATH available to us.

Conquering ones fear of death means also getting rid off the source of most anxieties and other internal obstacles in life. Imagine that kind of happiness...being able to really focus on life while uncompromised by fears.

This is my intention for the story: through documenting the experiences of the kind people that have opened their minds and doors to me, I will create an essay that hopefully will grab a few of you. Firmly enough to actually prompt a change in your attitude toward your mortality to live a fuller, deeply satisfying life.

"What would you do it you knew you could not fail?"
